Art Show and Sale - 13th annual [Sat Apr 10, 2010]
ART FOR GOODNESS' SAKE ! You can purchase fine quality Canadian art at reasonable prices, meet the artists, and do it all for a good cause. We support 25 community charities helping such groups as the homeless, women's shelters, health organizations, a hospice, and youth organizations. The 13th annual Art Show and Sale will be held on Sat April 10,2010 at Kingsway-Lambton Church, 85 The Kingsway at Prince Edward Drive from 10 am to 4 pm. Admission is $10 at the door and your ticket is entered into into a draw for an original oil on board [8 X 10], "Illuminated Interior" by local artist Ciba Karisik. Hats, Mitts, Gloves and Scarves Drive [Monday Dec 07, 2009 - Monday Dec 07, 2009]
The Community Police Liaison Committee of 11 Division of the Toronto Police Service is asking for donations of new or gently used hats, mitts, gloves and scarves to keep our less furtunate neighbours warm this winter.  We'll make sure that they are distriubted by social service agencies who support those in need in the area served by 11 Division Police. Please drop off your donations between December 7th and 12th[/b] to 11 Division front desk at 209 Mavety Street, Perth-Dupont Library at 1589 Dupont Street, Polish Credit Union at 220 Roncesvalles Avenue or the Swansea Town Hall at 95 Lavinia Avenue.  Or join us on [b]Saturday, December 12th between 12 noon and 3:00 p.m. at 11 Division 209 Mavety St. and have a Hot Chocolate, meet the officers and members of the CPLC.  Help us put a smile on some ones face this winter season.  For more information please call Debbie at 416-808-1153.
